Jonny Fallout creates complex and layered electronic music, released on American electronica label Triplicate Records and European synthwave label Retro Reverb Records. A life-long creator and fan of music in many forms, Fallout is a classically trained pianist, with a background in jazz performance and audio engineering.
The Electroscape, described “Cybertherial”, Fallout's debut album, this way: “Melodies drifting through digital landscapes of zeros and ones that exist neither here nor there. Ethereal vocals drawn from a future place are also somehow entirely organic, grounded, and raw. In May, 2021, Fallout released the cyberpunk soundtrack “Escape from Ultra City” EP. The EP was mastered by Finnish synthwave artist Millennium Falck and built around a sci-fi short story that Fallout authored — a bonus download for the Bandcamp release.
That same month, Fallout, as a founding member of the synthwave collective Polyphonic Underground, released a track as a part of the vinyl LP, “Terrible Investments”. The LP was mastered by Dynatron with art by L’Avenue.
Fallout also released tracks on several other compilations of electronic music, including “The Beautiful Eyes Dream Suite” from Kawsaki Audio Space, and “Time Lapse” and “Protozoa” from Triplicate Records.
In November 2021, Jonny Fallout released his debut album “Cybertherial”. Mastered by XENNON at XENNON Studios, "Cybertherial" is a cyberpunk romance—nine songs about longing, loving, losing yourself and finding your way in a confusing and chaotic futuristic world mediated by zeros and ones.
Fallout's second full length, “Cybertherial II”, was released by Retro Reverb Records in June, 2022. The album, which was mastered by Denver, Colorado based synth artist Jacket, weaves together synthwave with EDM to create an exciting mix of danceable pop music.
In November, 2022 Fallout's EP, "Memories of Nowhere", was released on Retro Reverb Records. It featured long-time collaborator Kevin Hartman on guitar, and was mastered by Von Hertzog at The Social Club. "Memories of Nowhere" explores the farthest reaches of our imaginations and our deepest dreams.
